Drone Bees
Drones are the male bees within the colony. They make up just a small portion of the population of a hive. Drones are larger than worker bees but smaller than the queen.

Structure of a Hive
A standard hive consists of a bottom board, a brood chamber, a honey super, a lid that straps or clips to hold it all together and a colony of honey bees.
