Tree Grants

The first grants were awarded in 2021, with a second program running in 2022, providing grants between 1,000 and $10,000 to farmers to plant pollinator friendly trees. In its first two years, Bee Friendly Farming has awarded $65,000 in grants to farmers who collectively planted 92 hectares of pollinator-friendly habitat.

This has improved the ecosystem for feeding, nesting and breeding and in turn increased the number and diversity of insect pollinators in agriculture and urban landscapes.
